Principle area of manual sandblasting machine and liquid sandblasting machine

Sandblasting machines are widely used products for abrasive jets. Sandblasting machines are generally divided into two categories: dry sandblasting machines and liquid sandblasting machines. Dry sandblasting machines can also be divided into suction and pressure type.

Suction dry sandblasting machine

1. Generally, a complete suction dry sandblasting machine consists of six systems, namely structural system, medium power system, pipeline system, dust removal system, control system, and auxiliary system.

2. Working principle

The suction type dry sandblasting machine is powered by compressed air and forms a negative pressure inside the spray gun through the high-speed movement of the airflow. The abrasive is sucked into the spray gun through the sand conveying pipe and shot out through the nozzle, then sprayed onto the processed surface to achieve the expected processing purpose. In a suction type dry sandblasting machine, compressed air is both a feeding power and an accelerating power.

Pressure type dry sandblasting machine

1. Generally, a complete working unit of a press in dry sandblasting machine is composed of four systems, namely pressure tank, medium power system, pipeline system, and control system.

2. Working principle of press in dry sandblasting machine. The press in dry sandblasting machine is powered by compressed air. The working pressure is established by compressed air in the pressure tank, and the abrasive is pressed into the sand conveying pipe through the sand outlet valve and shot out through the nozzle. It is then sprayed onto the processed surface to achieve the expected processing goal. In a press in dry sandblasting machine, compressed air is both a feeding power and an accelerating power.

Liquid sandblasting machine

Compared to dry sandblasting machines, liquid sandblasting machines have the advantage of effectively controlling dust pollution during the sandblasting process and improving the working environment for sandblasting operations.

1. Generally, a complete liquid sandblasting machine consists of five systems, namely structural system, medium power system, pipeline system, control system, and auxiliary system.

2. Working principle: The liquid sandblasting machine uses a grinding fluid pump as the feeding power of the grinding fluid, and through the grinding fluid pump, the evenly stirred grinding fluid (a mixture of abrasive and water) is transported to the spray gun. Compressed air, as the acceleration power of the grinding fluid, enters the spray gun through the air supply pipe. Inside the spray gun, compressed air accelerates the grinding fluid entering the spray gun and is then sprayed out through the nozzle to achieve the expected processing purpose on the surface to be processed.

In a liquid sandblasting machine, the grinding fluid pump is the feeding power, and compressed air is the acceleration power.
